I Ketut Gede Jiwa Artana is a bird lover. He founded a conservation site for the Jalak Bali. This Jalak Bali breeding place is actually a private business or built in a residential area. The breeding of the Jalak Bali was made because of the condition of the Jalak Bali as Balinese icons that are almost extinct. The bird breeding in Banjar Bongan Kauh Kelod, is not a zoo that we generally visit. I Ketut Gede Jiwa Artana uses the place as the medium of education for the wider community who want to learn how to raise and breed birds. Not only Jalak Bali that we can find there, but there are still many other types of birds such as peacocks and others. He also educates and utilizes the surrounding community to jointly breed Jalak Bali. Now the number of members is reaching 20 members. The total cages are about 185 pieces with 100 couples of Jalak Bali.
